About the Business
The original Poplars Day Nursery, Sherwood - opened in 1993 - was, and still is, a family run business. Throughout that time our head teacher, staff, parents and children have helped to research and develop a unique approach to care and education.
Since 1993, we have developed an outstanding reputation based on our unique approach to providing care and education for babies, toddlers and pre-school children between the ages of 12 weeks and 6 years.
The Poplars Process ensures that your baby/child is safe, secure and well cared for throughout their time at our day nurseries and embraces the Human Scale Ethos, in creating a small, family friendly learning environment. We have proven that our small groups develop a sense of belonging for your family. This reassures you when leaving your child with us for the first time, and allows for more effective communication. Communication continues to build as our dedicated and caring staff bring out the best in your child.
