About the Business
Christine and Mike[/caption]Chris and Mike have been childminding since 2006 and we both have an Ofsted rating of Good. I started working life as a nanny and then went to various other jobs before we started our own computer business. I also started my own business selling line dance and western wear. All this whilst raising two boys. I never forgot my first love of children and decided to go back to childcare when winding down my business. I joined the Royal Signals after leaving school and went on to become an instructor in electronics. On leaving the Army I became a field service engineer in the computer industry going from senior support engineer to managing a national repair workshop. I set up my own company and with Christine ran it for 20+ years. I decided that I would also become a childminder when I finished the computer business. I was a hockey coach for Farsley/Leeds hockey club for all age groups 5 -60 before retiring from hockey.
