About the Business
Sue and Deryck Barnicoat are both OFSTED registered Childminders providing Outstanding Childcare (Inspection Feb 2012) & (Inspection Sept 2013). We are insured by Morton Michel. We both have Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety, Child Protection and Introducing Childminding Practice qualifications. Deryck has Early Years Foundation Stage, Computing, Maths, Science and other relevant qualifications. Sue has a Developing Childminding Practice Certificate and Degrees in Science, Early Years, Childhood and Youth Studies and a Masters Degree in Education.
We offer a calm family environment with a gentle emphasis on encouraging childrens language development, social skills and educational achievement. Some two year olds and all children aged between three and five are entitled to Free Early Education and Childcare at our setting. Our home is full of toys and resources which can keep children of all ages happily occupied.

Truro, CornwallUnfortunately, my experience echoes other poor reviews seen elsewhere. If you are happy to not know a thing about what your child gets up to and not ask any questions these guys might be right for you! Even when our child was clearly not happy there, they had nothing to say to us but were quite prepared to be horrible and blame us when we tried to ask any questions. Poor attitude, completely unprofessional behaviour. Overall, very concerning.
