About the Business
Wivelsfield Green Playgroup and Pre-School is a quality provider of early years education for children aged 2 - 5 years. We are set in the beautiful village of Wivelsfield Green and were founded just over 40 years ago in 1972. We are based in the Wivelsfield Green Village Hall and are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 9am - 12.45pm. We also offer afternoon sessions on a Tuesday and Wednesday 12.45pm - 3.00pm. We are closed on a Thursday.
Our trustees are predominantly parents who have or have had children at the setting. This ensures children and their needs are at the heart of our decision making and we believe we are a group run by parents for parents. We have a team of six permanent staff - Kay Waterman who is the Manager, Kelly Mason the Deputy Manager and SENCO (special educational needs co-ordinator) and Lisa Hunter and Sarah Thornton our Key Workers.
